About Us

Utopia Percherons is located on 30 acres in Goshen, Connecticut. Our hefty goal is to always have for sale a few quality, young, black, percheron geldings ready to go into the show ring. Currently we competitively show a six horse hitch of black geldings. We also campaign several halter horses throughout the show season along with raising 2-4 foals each year.
On occasion we will take in outside horses, ponies, draft horses to be trained to drive. We take great pride in raising or buying our horses with the purpose of training them and gettting them to the show ring.
Our crew consists of close friends and family. We absolutely could not compete without them. We enjoy most sharing our knowledge of draft horses with youths interested in learning how to perform in the showmanship and driving arenas. There is no better reward than watching those you have taught go on to succeed in the show ring.
